Origin Story
Bridget Hannon spent much of her youth in the Bushveld in South Africa, learning about the beauty of nature and how to stop and notice the small things. As she grew up she developed a discerning eye not only for nature but for hair and beauty and she fell in love with the story and products of Coco Chanel.
She moved from Rhodes University to Oxford Brooks to study English Literature and when she graduated she moved to London and trained as a Chanel Make-Up Artist. By chance one day, she found herself as a last minute stand-in for a Make-Up artist at a fashion shoot. She became hooked on beauty and hair and was asked to work at many other international fashion shoots and international weddings for which she eventually built a mobile team of hair and beauty professionals. Her team became the envy of many salons in London and that inspired her to create a one stop shop in Parsons Green for all things Hair, Nails and Beauty. In 2016 Blush + Blow opened its doors and became a unique destination where women could access a whole range of hair and beauty services under one roof. The skin and aesthetics departments eventually out-grew the Blush + Blow premises and The Skin Studio opened right next door at 199 as a sister business to Blush + Blow. Tens of thousands of clients later for Blush + Blow and The Skin Studio and both businesses are today valued contributors to the local community, as is the lady they now call The Beauty Queen of Parsons Green!
